I have lived in Portland, Oregon almost my entire life (born and raised), except for a year and a half when I was in Arizona in 2002 & 2003.  Leisure activities include: bike riding, fishing, and generally being outdoors involved in different activities.  I snow skied when I was younger, and would like to start skiing again in the future.  I also did a lot of traveling when I was younger, and plan on continuing to travel in a year or so.  Might get a job in the travel industry if able to considering I'm a felon.  I will continue to work in Portland, but don't plan on staying in Oregon my whole life.  I am considering moving to somewhere in Mexico to live in 5 years or so.  My immediate plans once released are to go to work, play my monthly supervision fees (on time), complete my post prison, and build a better life for myself to be proud of.  The institution has release counselors we see once we have 4 months or more time left in our sentences.  The prisons in Oregon seem to have a lot of programs to offer us for a positive transition back into the community, and a better chance at having success once released, which I plan on taking full advantage of once offered to me.
